In recognition of SME's 50th, proceeds will benefit The East Fund
(Shawnee Mission East Educational Excellence Fund)
From the entire SME 50 planning committee & the SME administration, Teachers & Staff we would ALL like to thank everyone for the excellent turnout at all the different events. The Parade in particular had over 60 floats or entries and more than 500 individuals participating. Estimates for the parade route vary from 1700 to 2500 people lining the streets. It was by far the largest Lancer Day parade in the history of the
School.

Please stay tuned as we will have some more pictures and some videos available from some of the different events like the parade and the reception at the library. It was a tremendous success thanks to you. Check back soon!! (click on any picture to enlarge )
